Software Developer, Firmwide Technology Management

Research, design, and develop specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, including gathering requirements and feedback for workflows, and develop and enhance features for internal projects, such as Desmake, Base, and GUAStest. Oversee developer infrastructure managed by the DevEx team to ensure firmwide operational stability. Monitor pipelines and address any issues that arise. Respond to user requests in real-time. Provide troubleshooting support for individual cases. Conduct empirical and systematic analyses of developer workflows by observing users at work and developing monitoring tools. Utilize resulting analyses to create and implement training programs to improve the use of internal tools and optimize developer productivity.Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field of study, plus one (1) year of experience with writing Python, Javascript, Typescript, Rust, Java, and Perl; build tools, including GNU make; using and debugging Linux; full software development life cycle, including unit testing, code review, and post deployment validation; management of CI/CD tools, including GitHub Actions; writing VSCode extensions; and, conducting and running technical training sessions.
