Software Developer II - Multiple Openings Position Duties Develop and support applications in the areas of smart grid energy and commodity trading risk management emission and renewable energy credit market gas trading electric transmission and congestion management Analyze user requirements procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems Review computer system capabilities workflow and scheduling limitations consult and perform gap analysis on new business requirements and product functionality Work with internal customers and external customers and vendors as needed to validate data workflow and business model relationships will assess product needs and system requirements Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow Review functional specifications validate detailed design using a variety of technologies including Java Object Oriented Design SQL Server Java Script HTML DHTML C C and webPlus Power and application interfaces using XMLSOAP Monitor software development life cycle of the product Test maintain and monitor computer programs and systems including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems Develop document and revise system design procedures test procedures and quality standards Plan direct and coordinate the product applications releases and system integration and Manage programs and procedures for system implementation and quality assurance Supervise six junior software engineers.
