Overview
We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to support the development of enterprise-scale applications utilizing modern Java technologies, cloud platforms, and database solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing backend systems and working within Agile software development environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications.
- Build scalable backend services using Java 17 and Spring Boot.
- Work with Oracle, MongoDB, and DynamoDB databases.
- Develop and support event-driven solutions utilizing Kafka.
- Leverage AWS cloud services to support application development and deployment.
- Participate in architecture, design, and code review activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Create and maintain technical and operational documentation.
- Support monitoring and troubleshooting activities using Splunk or similar tools.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with Java 17 and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Oracle, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
- Experience working with Kafka.
- Strong AWS cloud experience.
- Experience with Splunk or comparable monitoring tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Datalog.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and practices.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
Additional Information
- Contract position through December 2026.
- Hybrid work schedule requiring onsite presence four days per week in Denver, Colorado.
