Job Title: Software Developer - Application Developer III
Location: Tysons Corner, VA (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer - Application Developer III to design, develop, and support enterprise applications in a cloud-native environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java development, microservices architecture, and REST API development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Java-based enterprise applications
  • Build and support microservices and RESTful APIs
  • Collaborate with architects, QA, and DevOps teams
  • Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Support CI/CD and deployment activities

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
  • Experience with REST APIs and microservices
  • Experience with relational databases and ORM frameworks
  • Familiarity with AWS and containerized environments
  • Knowledge of Git, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Kafka or event-driven systems
  • Exposure to healthcare or regulated environments
  • Experience working in Agile teams
