Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Software Developer (SAP, Java) for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate is focused on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software solutions across the full software development lifecycle.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Software Developer (SAP, Java) Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications to meet business and customer requirements.

• Collaborate with customers, product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver user-focused software solutions.

• Develop and maintain back-end services, APIs, and integrations while supporting front-end application functionality.

• Define software architecture, technology stacks, deployment strategies, and testing approaches for scalable solutions.

• Implement Agile development practices, including test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD).

• Support SAP S/4 HANA training enablement, certification tracking, reporting dashboards, and user readiness initiatives while ensuring security and data protection standards are met.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 4+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years of software development experience.

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ERP, Java, SAP APIs, and Jira, including designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications.

• Strong understanding of full software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, software architecture, testing practices, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
