DME Forensics is looking for a software developer willing to join our small, close -knit team. You will chiefly be working on our flagship product, DVR Examiner, which has been built mostly from .NET technologies over the last seven years. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/div>

Your primary duties would include the development and maintenance of the main application user interface. You will work with product ownership and design teams to develop, maintain, and improve upon front end application components. In addition to developing new features and resolving current issues, your duties would include consolidating our code base and updating our legacy code to meet our current policies. This may include performance and memory testing. You will be working with subject matter experts and other developers in the team.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

To be successful in this role you will have a good grasp of .NET, WPF, and related technologies/practices, including automated UI testing, unit testing, use of tools like ReSharper for testing/refactoring, and agile development environments. This role would suit someone who enjoys creating a great visual and workflow experience for end -users and refining code into a developer -friendly finished product.<\/span><\/span>

Salary range ($55,000 to $155,000) reflects Junior to Senior positions. The position and salary offered will depend on your experience.<\/span>

Participates in the entire application lifecycle, with a specific emphasis on documentation, testing, coding, and debugging. <\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Writes clean code to develop functional internal and external applications<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Maintains, troubleshoots, and debugs applications<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Designs and performs unit tests to optimize performance and maintainability<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Refactors, upgrades, and improves code base<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Collaborates with product owners, UX designers, and engineers to integrate new features and functionality<\/span><\/span>

Gathers and addresses technical and design requirements<\/span><\/span>

Provides documentation, training, and support to internal teams<\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
Bachelor's Degree from four -year college or university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Application Development or a relevant field highly preferred<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>
1 -3 years experience working with .NET and WPF<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>
In -depth understanding of design and development with an emphasis on proper coding conventions and patterns<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>
Experience working within a TDD environment<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>
Experience working in a small company/small team environment<\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
