The Mobile Build Experience (MBX) team in ASBX empowers thousands of developers across Amazon to build, test, and ship mobile and device experiences that delight millions of customers worldwide. We create the foundational infrastructure that enables teams building products like the Mobile Shopping app, Kindle, Alexa, Prime Video, Amazon Music, and Photos to move fast while maintaining the highest standards of quality and security. We make sure these systems work seamlessly so product teams can innovate rapidly and respond to customer needs with speed and confidence. We build the invisible infrastructure that makes the visible magic possible-ensuring that whether you"re building for iOS, Android, or embedded systems, you have a fast, reliable, and secure path from code to customer. As an SDE II, you"ll solve challenging systems problems at massive scale-from build orchestration and code signing to intelligent resource allocation. We"re building next-generation mobile and device infrastructure that powers iOS, Android, and embedded systems development across Amazon, scaling to support thousands of developers and hundreds of thousands of daily builds. What You"ll Do: Own critical components of Amazon"s mobile build infrastructure serving teams like Kindle, Alexa, Prime Video, and the Mobile Shopping app Design and implement systems that handle code compilation, security signing, testing, and deployment at scale Leverage automation and intelligent tooling to reduce build times and eliminate developer friction Scale systems handling continuous growth while maintaining high performance, reliability, and security Debug complex distributed systems issues across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, embedded) Mentor teammates on operational excellence, system design, and mobile platform best practices We"re looking for engineers who thrive on making systems faster, more reliable, and more secure-enabling thousands of developers to ship exceptional mobile experiences to millions of customers.
