Amazon Robotics operates one of the world"s largest fleets of industrial robotic systems. The ARGES (Assisted Repair and Guided Equipment Solutions) team within Robotics Operations Management (ROM) is building the next generation of intelligent maintenance tooling to reduce the expertise required for equipment recovery and diagnostics.
As an SDE II on ARGES, you will design and build full-stack applications that guide field technicians through complex hardware maintenance workflows. You"ll work across our portfolio, including browser-based monitoring tools, tablet diagnostic applications, and backend services that integrate directly with industrial control systems (PLCs, safety controllers, robotic workcells). Your work will directly reduce mean-time-to-repair and enable technicians to safely resolve equipment issues that previously required specialized engineering support.
This is an opportunity to shape the architecture of a platform that will converge multiple maintenance tools into a single intelligent system by 2027. You"ll operate with autonomy, make key technical decisions, and see your code running in warehouses across the globe.
