Job Summary
The Personalization and Discovery Growth team builds scalable marketing technology systems that power paid media campaigns across digital and social channels. This role focuses on developing innovative solutions that support customer acquisition, content discovery, and subscriber growth at global scale.

The Software Development Engineer will work across the full campaign lifecycle, developing AI-powered automation, integrating advertising technology platforms, building data pipelines for measurement and attribution, and creating campaign management tools to support optimization and reporting. The role also involves developing multi-agent systems and AI copilots, collaborating with Applied Scientists on machine learning features, and building reliable monitoring and alerting infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in computer science, experience with distributed systems and data engineering, and familiarity with marketing technology or advertising technology platforms. Strong written communication, attention to detail, independent problem-solving, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered automation for campaign creation and scheduling using agentic frameworks and large language models (LLMs).
• Develop integrations with advertising technology platforms to support campaign activation and delivery.
• Design and develop data pipelines for real-time measurement, attribution, and campaign performance analytics.
• Build campaign management tools and workflows to support optimization and iterative improvements.
• Develop multi-agent systems and AI copilots that streamline campaign ideation, execution, and performance reporting.
• Collaborate with Applied Scientists to develop machine learning-powered features, including audience optimization and incrementality measurement.
• Build monitoring and alerting infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability of marketing operations.
• Contribute to system design, architecture decisions, and code reviews to improve software quality, scalability, and reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience, excluding internships.
• 2+ years of experience in software design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scalability of new and existing systems.
• 2+ years of experience with big data technologies such as AWS, Spark, or Hadoop.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python.
• Experience with AWS services, including Step Functions, S3, Redshift, Lambda, and EMR.
• Experience with distributed systems and data pipeline development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing AI-native systems.
• Familiarity with agentic frameworks and Amazon Bedrock.
• Experience with advertising technology platforms and campaign management systems.
• Familiarity with AWS Clean Rooms.
• Experience with TypeScript.
