Software Development Engineer in Test Intern (Global E-Commerce) - 2027 Summer

The global E-commerce business team hopes to provide users with a more tailored and efficient consumption experience, enabling merchants to receive reliable platform services in different scenarios such as live E-commerce, and short video content E-commerce, so as to make more affordable and high-quality products sell easily and a better life within reach.

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. Our internship program offers students hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. Interns will gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals. Responsibilities:

• Work alongside developers and cross-functional stakeholders to understand product requirements and translate them into effective quality strategies.
• Build and maintain automation solutions for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Participate in requirement reviews and technical design discussions to identify quality risks and improve testability.
• Develop reusable tools, scripts, and frameworks that improve engineering efficiency and reduce manual testing effort.
• Analyze bottlenecks in quality workflows and help improve testing processes, tools, and platform capabilities.
• Support AI testing initiatives, including validating AI-enabled features, improving automated test generation, or using AI-assisted quality workflows to increase testing effectiveness. Minimum Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Understanding of software testing fundamentals, networking, databases, algorithms, and system design.
• Hands-on coding ability and basic understanding of development and debugging workflows.
• Strong execution ability, learning agility, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Interest in test automation, quality engineering, developer tools, or scalable testing infrastructure.
• Experience from internships, academic projects, competitions, or research related to software engineering or testing.
• Interest in AI testing, intelligent automation, or evaluating the quality and reliability of AI-driven product features.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, collaborative, and globally distributed team environment.
