ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY We are seeking hands-on Software Development Engineers to build reliable software and tooling for networked customer terminal systems. The ideal candidate combines strong Rust development with practical networking knowledge and can troubleshoot complex behavior across software, Linux, devices, and network environments.
THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
Design, develop, test, and maintain production software using Rust
Build software and tooling that interacts with networked systems, services, and customer terminal environments
Develop diagnostics, monitoring, automation, and operational tooling for connectivity and network-related issues
Troubleshoot complex problems spanning software behavior, Linux, network protocols, connectivity, and distributed systems
Perform hands-on root-cause analysis across software and network environments
Own technical work end to end, from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and validation
Collaborate across engineering teams to build reliable software for large-scale networked systems
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
3 years of professional experience in Software Development
Strong hands-on programming experience with Rust
Solid Networking fundamentals, including:
TCP/IP and practical understanding of network behavior
Network connectivity and troubleshooting
Experience working with networked or distributed systems
Experience developing software for distributed, networked, or systems-level environments
Strong Linux experience, including standard command-line troubleshooting tools
Strong software engineering fundamentals across design, coding, testing, code review, deployment, and operations
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills with the ability to independently drive complex technical problems through resolution
NICE TO HAVES
Experience with network protocols, routing, DNS, DHCP, sockets, or connectivity troubleshooting
Experience with C/C++, Python, or other systems/tooling languages
Experience building monitoring, telemetry, diagnostics, or automation solutions
AWS or cloud experience
Exposure to device or embedded systems environments, though embedded/firmware experience is not required
