Job Description
Design and build scalable software systems that enable millions of advertisers to create more effective ad campaigns with intelligent recommendations - leveraging GenAI and agentic AI to accelerate development and solve complex technical challenges at Amazon"s global scale. Your work will improve both the advertiser experience and the shopping experience for hundreds of millions of customers.

We deliver billions of ad impressions and millions of clicks daily, breaking fresh ground through innovative engineering. You"ll use GenAI-powered development tools to enhance code quality and ship faster in a highly motivated, fast-paced, and collaborative team with an entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to engineering excellence.
Key job responsibilities
- Design and build robust, scalable software systems that enhance product experiences, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and engineers
- Own the complete lifecycle of software features - system design, implementation, testing, monitoring, and maintenance of production services at scale
- Develop scalable, automated solutions for complex technical challenges including distributed systems, APIs, data pipelines, and user-facing applications
- Design and execute experiments to evaluate software solutions, ensuring data-driven optimization and measurable impact on product metrics
- Contribute directly to critical system components, writing high-quality code that ensures engineering excellence in performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions that align with product objectives and user needs
- Participate in code reviews, share knowledge with team members, and contribute to engineering standards that promote code quality and team effectiveness
