Amazon MQ is a managed AWS service for Apache ActiveMQ and RabbitMQ that streamlines setup, operation, and management of message brokers on AWS. Every day we make it easier for developers to build applications that use the rich features and power of open-source message brokers. We partner with the maintainers of the RabbitMQ and Apache ActiveMQ open source projects to continually evolve and improve the projects with new features and optimizations.
The Amazon MQ RabbitMQ team in Seattle is seeking a seasoned engineering leader who brings a unique blend of open-source software expertise and cloud computing acumen. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and nurturing developer communities while delivering mission-critical services at scale. We"re looking for someone who can navigate the intersection of open-source collaboration and enterprise-grade service delivery, bringing both worlds together to create exceptional customer experiences. As a leader in our organization, you"ll need to demonstrate pragmatic decision-making and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Your role will involve empowering and mentoring world-class engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, and driving continuous improvement in both software quality and operational efficiency.
