Key Responsibilities:- Developing foundational software components for Robotics and Enabling Technology applications.
- Conducting research, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of software components within Strykers clinical application architectures.
- Creating shared biomechanics and planning source code that integrates into established architectures of pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative clinical applications.
- Participating in SDLC activities, including code review, documentation, integration, testing, defect management, and code analysis.
- Ensuring components are feature complete, meeting requirements and design specifications.
- Designing, developing, testing, debugging, and implementing operating systems components, software tools, and utilities.
- Determining systems software design requirements.
- Monitoring and ensuring successful implementation of system improvements to increase efficiency.
- Generating and updating systems software engineering policies, standards, and procedures.
Qualifications: - Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Qt within a Linux environment.
- Experience with 3D geometry and image processing algorithms involving complex calculations.
- Familiarity with integrated development environments (IDEs), build systems, and CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of revision control systems and unit testing procedures.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
