Your Responsibilities

• Be a key player on the development of enterprise-grade financial applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and adherence to architectural standards.
• Assist on building robust, modular software components that support ERP and EPM integrations, billing and accounting workflows.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release activities to deliver high-quality financial solutions.
• Implement security protocols and maintain compliance with financial regulations and corporate standards.
• Drive seamless integration between ERP systems and financial applications to support billing cycles and reporting.
• Apply coding standards and collaborate on best practices within the team.

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related STEM field, from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience
• Understanding knowledge of the software development lifecycle: design, functional and technical requirements, coding, debugging, testing, release, and operational support.

Knowledge of

• Spring framework, Spring, REST
• Programming Languages: Java, Python, or similar.
• AWS Services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, Step Functions, API Gateway, CloudFront.
• DevOps Tools: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD Pipelines.
• Infrastructure as Code: CloudFormation, Terraform.
• Security: IAM, Secrets Manager, encryption best practices.
• SQL: Query creation, query tunning, creation of tables, views and indexes.

Preferred

• At least 1 to 2 years' experience as a full stack software developer
• Generative AI knowledge
• Familiarity with LLMs and prompt engineering
• AI Powered tools like Claude, ChatGPT
• Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven design
• AWS, Java or Python certification

Demonstrates key competencies to include action orientation, drive results and cultivating innovation by making use of AI as a regular part of the development lifecycle.

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Director, Software Engineering. You will have 6 peer teammates and collaborate with cross functional teams on a regular basis.
