Job Overview:
In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. You will review and analyze multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Additionally, you will contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of functional policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet deliverables. This role involves strategic collaboration and consultation with client personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Build scalable backend APIs and services using C#/.NET 6/7+, ASP.NET Core, EF Core, and JBPM.
• Develop intuitive, performant Angular (13+) UI components using TypeScript, RxJS, and modular architecture.
• Design and enhance Spark ETL/ELT pipelines, including transformations, data quality rules, and performance tuning.
• Write high-coverage unit tests using xUnit/NUnit for backend and Jasmine/Karma for Angular with minimal supervision.
• Write test scripts using Playwright and iCEDQ, and utilize Octane for test management.
• Containerize applications and manage deployments on OpenShift (OCP), including build configs, routes, and scaling strategies.
• Work with Kubernetes concepts such as pods, deployments, services, config maps, secrets, and horizontal scaling.
• Contribute to CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, YAML pipelines, quality gates, and cloud-native delivery.
• Optimize SQL queries, database structures, and ETL load patterns for performance and reliability.

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent, demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Proficiency in .NET Core, Angular, MS SQL Server, REST API, and Spark with at least 1 year of experience in each.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with offshore teams and cross-functional groups.
• Ability to speak to past experiences and demonstrate expertise in the required tools and technologies.

• Testing: xUnit, NUnit, Playwright, iCEDQ, Octane
• Architecture: SOLID, Mediator, DI, Repository Pattern, modular monolith/microservices
• Cloud (Optional): Azure App Service, Key Vault, Storage

Pay Range: $70-$80/hr. on W2
