We are seeking a Software Engineer II with experience in Android Automotive, AOSP, embedded systems, and modern C++ development to support the development of next-generation vehicle software platforms.
This role will focus on building and enhancing Android Automotive infotainment systems, digital cockpit applications, and embedded vehicle software, while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality automotive solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain software for Android Automotive and embedded vehicle platforms
Develop Android platform services, system applications, and framework components using C++, Java, and Kotlin
Customize, integrate, and maintain functionality within the Android Open Source Project (AOSP)
Develop and troubleshoot Automotive Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) components and Stable AIDL interfaces
Support infotainment, digital cockpit, and connected vehicle software initiatives
Perform root cause analysis and resolve software stability, memory, concurrency, and performance issues
Contribute to software architecture, system design, integration strategies, and platform enhancements
Implement automated testing, code reviews, and software quality best practices
Partner with architects, developers, testers, and product teams across multiple release cycles
Support software deployment, production releases, and ongoing post-launch support
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years of software development experience.
Strong experience with C++17 or later.
Solid understanding of:

Experience with Android Automotive OS, AOSP, or Android platform architecture.
Experience developing or integrating software within AOSP.
Experience with Automotive HAL development, integration, or troubleshooting.
Experience working with Stable AIDL HALs and Android 11+ platform standards.
Familiarity with Android build systems including Android.bp (Soong) and Android.mk.
Experience developing software for embedded automotive, infotainment, digital cockpit, or vehicle systems.
