Software Engineer - AI/ML/LLM - 8+ yrs of Experience - TS/SCI w/Poly Required
Halogen Engineering is looking for a Software Engineer who will help create AI/ML assisted systems engineering/architecture/security/requirements generation instances. This will involve customizing access and interfaces with a Large Language Model (LLM) tailored for the customer.

Salary Range
The projected compensation range for this position is 152K-157K (annualized USD).
Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualâs particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements
Capabilities
1) Generate required API accounts;
2) Design user friendly interfaces allowing intuitive usage;
3) Design/provide all necessary security measures for modular design;
4) Design/coordinate all relevant access control measures;
5) Design user interface to be widely accessible across the customer community;
6) Design export features to common Microsoft office services;
7) Design interfaces/bridge to external management tools;
8) Assist in producing instructional materials for user training;
9) Generate lessons learned and suggestions for improving AI/ML processes; and
10) Provide expert advice to customers based on their specific needs.
Requirements
Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:
- Eight (8) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, complexity is required. Bachelorâs degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelorâs degree.
- Competency in JavaScript, REACT, CSS, and VS Code
- DoD 8570 compliance desired
