Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer – AI Solution Engineer to bridge business strategy, AI innovation, and hands-on software engineering. This role will partner closely with Lines of Business to identify high-impact opportunities where Artificial Intelligence can improve processes, reduce operational effort, and create measurable business value.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with business stakeholders to understand business challenges, assess existing processes, translate requirements into technical solutions, and rapidly build AI-powered Proofs of Concept (POCs).

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Lines of Business and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for AI, automation, and Generative AI adoption.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and AI architectures.
• Build rapid Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate technical feasibility and business value.
• Develop AI solutions leveraging AWS OpenSearch, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LLMs, and LLM orchestration.
• Work with enterprise AI platforms and emerging Generative AI technologies.
• Develop reusable AI components, patterns, and solutions that can be leveraged across multiple business functions.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data teams, architects, and business stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Help drive Generative AI adoption across Lines of Business through practical use cases and working prototypes.
• Ensure AI solutions maintain data integrity, reliability, security, and observability.
• Evaluate AI solution performance and identify opportunities for optimization and scalability.
• Document technical approaches, solution designs, POC results, and recommendations.

Required Skills

• Strong software engineering background with hands-on development experience.
• Experience building AI/Generative AI solutions and rapid POCs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS OpenSearch.
• Strong understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Experience with LLMs and LLM orchestration.
• Experience working with enterprise AI platforms.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience partnering directly with business stakeholders / Lines of Business.
• Strong understanding of AI solution architecture, scalability, and integration.
• Knowledge of data integrity, observability, and AI solution monitoring.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
