Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java, Kotlin), including experience with data structures and algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience working with two or more from the following: distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, developing large software systems.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $147000 - $211000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefitsLearn more about benefits at Google.

Responsibilities

  • Work end-to-end in modeling systems that support user data collection, backfilling, model training, feature iteration, inference, and serving.
  • Build infrastructure to improve dev velocity and resource efficiency in ad personalization modeling.
  • Assist clients (AViD ML teams) with onboarding the latest modeling infrastructure.
  • Be exposed to various ML technologies from Adbrain, GDM and so on.
