We are seeking a Backend Software Developer for a hybrid role based in Minneapolis/St. Paul or Washington, DC, working in-office 3+ days per week.
In this role, you will develop APIs and services that support a groundbreaking distributed operating system designed to organize and leverage physical infrastructure assets for military and critical applications. Responsibilities include building features, designing SDKs, authoring Python packages, ensuring system stability, and optimizing data storage for scalability and real-time performance.
Requirements include a US Security clearance, a relevant degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in backend development with Python, Kubernetes experience, and knowledge of security standards. Bonus skills include experience with async Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Rust, or multimedia data structures.
