Job Responsibilities

Job Description

Design, develop, prototype, and perform functional testing of automated equipment used in high-volume manufacturing environments. Support real-time hardware development for mobile devices while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable production solutions.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the engineering team to improve the serviceability of new products and support projects related to Customer Special Requirements (CSR).
Analyze customer requirements and develop system requirements that are derived from and traceable to customer specifications for both hardware and software.
Verify that the system architecture developed by the core engineering team satisfies system requirements.
Design, develop, and troubleshoot digital and analog circuits, sensors, and electronic instrumentation.
Develop and implement vision systems using cameras, lighting systems, digital image processing algorithms, and deep learning techniques.
Develop mechanical and hardware/software interface specifications and prepare technical documentation and reports.
Conduct customer gauge repeatability and reproducibility (GR&R) testing and reliability evaluations for new products.
Provide system engineering support for troubleshooting, repair, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions throughout the product lifecycle.
Develop and maintain system documentation, manufacturing processes, and production procedures for front-end support teams.
What You'll Do

As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and support automated test equipment and production systems for high-volume manufacturing of mobile devices. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to translate customer requirements into robust hardware and software solutions, improve product serviceability, and ensure reliable system performance throughout the product lifecycle.

In this role, you will:

Design, prototype, and validate automated equipment and real-time hardware systems used in production environments.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams to develop innovative and scalable solutions.
Translate customer requirements into system-level hardware and software specifications and verify compliance throughout the development process.
Develop and integrate digital and analog electronics, sensors, instrumentation, and machine vision technologies.
Implement and optimize camera-based inspection systems using image processing and deep learning techniques.
Perform system integration, validation, reliability testing, and production qualification.
Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Create technical documentation, engineering reports, and manufacturing procedures to support production and customer requirements.
