Software Engineer

Introduction

Join our dynamic IT Product team responsible for full cycle systems development activities including software design, development, and deployment activities. We are seeking a skilled professional to launch new systems and enhance existing systems, with opportunities to participate in integration and systems testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

• Hands-on experience using full stack Java technologies.
• 3 years of progressive IT experience, with a minimum of 2 years in Angular and Spring Boot.
• Experience with software delivery tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.
• Proficiency in developing across software tiers - front-end, back-end, and database queries.
• Experience in integration planning and deliverables (Webservices, API, etc.).
• Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE platform integration using REST APIs, including API design, consumption, authentication, data exchange, and integration troubleshooting.
• Knowledge and experience using Agile methodology.
• Proficiency in Git, Docker/Kubernetes for containerization, and Jenkins/Tekton for CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud Development expertise with GCP, including integration of tools like GCS, BigQuery, and DataFlow into existing workflows.
• Knowledge of configuring infrastructure through CI/CD pipelines using Terraform.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) platform.
• Knowledge of Python and packages like pandas, numpy, scipy, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn.
• Experience with Hacker Rank Coding Test.
• Experience working in a cross-functional global team environment.
• Master's Degree in a relevant field.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

• Design, develop, and deploy new systems and enhance existing systems.
• Participate in integration and systems testing.
• Handle code merges for all developers and resolve merge conflicts.
• Work on all aspects of the MLOps cycle including data extraction, analysis, model training, deployment, and re-training.
• Deliver product roadmap milestones and collaborate effectively with team members.
