JOB TITLE: Software Engineer – Developer Level 4

LOCATION: Tinker AFB, OK - Active Secret Security Clearance required to start

PAY RATE: $ 74.75/ Hr

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:
• Job Type: Contract (23 W, 5 D with potential for extension)
• Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance required to start
• Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation
• Schedule: Full-time, First Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite
• OT: Up to 10%

Qualifying Questions:
• Are you a U.S. citizen and able to maintain a U.S. security clearance?
• Do you currently possess an Active Secret Security Clearance?
• Do you have experience coding in C and/or ADA?
• Do you have embedded software development experience?
• Do you have experience using JIRA?
• Can you commute to Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, OK or relocate if necessary?

Summary:
• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software systems and subsystem models
• Support operational flight software used for system monitoring and testing
• Review and translate technical requirements and customer specifications
• Collaborate with engineering teams on software development and systems integration
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and system issues
• Support software enhancements, optimization, and reliability improvements
• Work throughout the full software development lifecycle using JIRA

Requirements:
• Active Secret Security Clearance required to start
• Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements
• Experience coding in C and/or ADA
• Embedded software design experience preferred
• Experience using JIRA in a software development environment
• Strong troubleshooting and systems integration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field preferred
