Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in software development.
  • Experience with generative AI, large language models (LLMs), or related machine learning fields.
  • Experience in C++, Python, Java, or TypeScript.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Generative AI, Generative AI Agent, Google Infrastructure.
  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
  • Ability to grow in an ambiguous environment where requirements and priorities change rapidly.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and scale the models and infrastructure powering drive GenAI products and services.
  • Collaborate with a team of researchers, engineers, and product managers to develop innovative solutions.
  • Lead technical design ownership and project delivery, while collaborating with technical leads to make critical decisions and resolve trade-offs.
  • Analyze and debug systems, diving deep into quality metrics and usage patterns to drive improvements.
  • Develop high-quality, scalable code, including comprehensive unit and integration tests.
