Mid Level Software Engineer

Location: South San Francisco, California (Onsite) Alternate Location: Burlingame, California

Role Overview

We are seeking engineers to join our team. This role is for individuals who are interested in making a difference in peoples lives. In this position, you will contribute to building and continuously improving our APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the full-stack development process, from designing backend APIs to implementing front-end components.
• Create lasting impact by building and continuously improving Python or Java-based APIs.
• Work within the engineering team on designing, developing, and deploying APIs that power core product functionality.
• Collaborate with key partners including product management, data science, and behavioral health specialists.
• Ensure that best practices are adhered to during all phases of software development.
• Adhere to the highest quality and security standards.

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required.

Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience developing enterprise or consumer web applications is required.

Technical Skills: Experience with Python or Java/Spring is required. Experience in developing and deploying multi-tenant web applications and building scalable REST APIs is also necessary.
