Join a team developing cloud-based weather data acquisition, processing, and analytics solutions. This role focuses on building scalable backend systems and data pipelines that support large-scale weather datasets while working closely with product teams, data scientists, and end users.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain cloud-native applications using Python and AWS services.
- Design and enhance backend systems, REST APIs, and data processing workflows.
- Build and support scalable data pipelines for large-volume datasets.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Develop containerized solutions using Docker and cloud technologies.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, alerting, and production operations.
- Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and data scientists to deliver new features and improvements.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance and cloud costs.
Preferred Skills:- Strong Python development experience in production environments.
- AWS experience including Lambda, S3, IAM, and related cloud services.
- Experience with big data processing and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of Databricks, Spark/PySpark, SQL, PostgreSQL, and data engineering concepts.
- Experience with Terraform, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
