Job Overview:

We are seeking a Software Engineer III to support the bank’s Frontier AI remediation initiative within the Fraud Technology organization. The engineer will focus on application-vulnerability remediation, API governance and security improvements, production-data obfuscation, and network segmentation.

The environment contains .NET Framework and .NET Core applications, including a significant number of microservices and high-visibility external services. This role requires an engineer who can quickly learn an existing application portfolio, work independently, and deliver secure, production-quality solutions within an accelerated timeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across .NET Framework and .NET Core applications.
• Implement API governance, configuration, and security changes.
• Help complete API remediation work already in progress.
• Develop and maintain applications built using microservices architecture.
• Implement containerized solutions using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Support production-data obfuscation and security-related data changes.
• Participate in network-segmentation remediation activities.
• Troubleshoot application, API, integration, and environment-related issues.
• Conduct appropriate functional and security validation after remediation.
• Support high-visibility external services subject to executive-level tracking.
• Collaborate with architects, application teams, cybersecurity teams, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders.
• Deliver work quickly while maintaining application quality, security, and operational stability.

Required Qualifications

• Five or more years of professional software-development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET Framework.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core.
• Experience designing, developing, or supporting microservices.
• Experience implementing or securing APIs.
• Experience addressing application-security vulnerabilities.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and at least one container-orchestration platform:
  • Kubernetes
  • OpenShift
• Experience working independently in a fast-paced technical environment.
• Ability to quickly analyze unfamiliar applications and implement production-ready changes.

Pay Range: $60- $65

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
