    Description

    The Role

    We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer in Test. You must be able to immerse yourself in an Agile team and be completely involved in every aspect of product development. You must work as an independent voice to ensure that quality is engineered into the product. You will be responsible for producing fully automated tests within each sprint. You must be able to solve technical issues and seamlessly collaborate with project managers, analysts, developers, vendors, and business specialists. Your contributions will result in a fully test automated product which will have a direct positive impact on the customer experience.

    Technical / Behavioral
    • Experience in Agile methodologies.
    • Confidence to champion quality engineering.
    • Communication skills that prioritize collaboration over conflict.
    • Good understanding of Agile to provide constructive feedback to improve sprint deliveries.
    • Experience with requirement analysis, defect tracking, coordinating with team members in different locations, and test reporting and signoff.
    • Strong analytical and technical skills to address sophisticated issues.
    • Ability to perform root cause analysis on defects.
    • High level of dedication, initiative, vision, and passion.

    The Skills that are required for this role

    • Experience in test automation using Playwright/Typescript
    • Proficient in software engineering, with the expectation that the individual can produce high-quality code demonstrating engineering excellence.
    • This person will be encouraged to contribute new ideas and ways of doing things to improve the team.
    • Familiar with Copilot
    • Experience testing Web Applications
    • Experience testing APIs (REST Primarily)
    • Ability to adapt to new environments and learn in-house developed tools and practices
    • Integration testing between multiple independent systems using interfaces such as event-driven solutions, APIs, and serverless based architectures.
    • Relational database experience
    • Experience using Jira, Xray, and Xray integrations
    • AWS experience helpful
