The software engineering intern provides technical support to software development efforts across projects, tasks, or business units.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Software development support to active projects, including coding, debugging, and testing under the guidance of senior engineers
- Assistance in designing, developing, and maintaining software components, tools, or internal applications
- Support for system integration, validation, and troubleshooting activities across development environments
- Participation in Agile events, contributing to sprint tasks, documentation, and technical discussions
- Basic analysis and problem-solving for defects, performance issues, or enhancement requests
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Required Experience & Skills:
- University Senior or Graduate level student in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Strong quantitative abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#)
- Basic understanding of software development principles and lifecycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git)
- Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and analyze code issues
Educational Requirements:
- Working on a Bachelor's Degree or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field.
- In lieu of a degree, equivalent experience may be accepted.
