Software Engineer IV (C#/.NET)

Pay Rate: $75.00 - $84.00per hr.

We are seeking a senior Software Engineer 4 to join an established, fully remote team supporting .NET applications and SQL processes.
The role is heavily focused on vulnerability remediation within existing application code. Security/code scanning tools identify vulnerabilities and often provide guidance toward resolution. There is a significant backlog of vulnerabilities requiring remediation and short turnaround times are expected. Prior hands-on experience with SAST, vulnerability scanners, or security scanning tools is not required. Strong .NET development and debugging experience is the key requirement.

Responsibilities

• Independently take vulnerability-remediation assignments directly from the backlog.
• Analyze identified vulnerabilities and implement appropriate code fixes.
• Develop, debug, and maintain .NET applications.
• Perform unit testing and validate remediation changes.
• Work with Entity Framework, SQL Server, T-SQL, and stored procedures.
• Develop applications that are deployed through OpenShift.
• Monitor application pods and perform basic operational activities such as stopping/restarting pods when necessary.
• Support CI/CD processes and application deployments.
• Use Git and deployment tools such as Harness.
• Support additional new development/project work as vulnerability workload permits.

OpenShift Expectations

• OpenShift experience is preferred, but candidates do not need to be OpenShift administrators.
• The engineer will primarily develop applications deployed through OpenShift and should understand the platform well enough to perform basic activities such as monitoring pods and stopping/restarting pods.
• Candidates with hands-on Kubernetes experience supporting or deploying applications can be considered without specific OpenShift experience.
