Pay Rate: $80.00 - $84.00per hr.

Our client needs a Level 4 Software Engineer to support the development and modernization of a digital origination platform supporting consumer banking products including checking, savings, and credit card applications. This is a hands-on engineering role (approx. 80% coding) focused on feature development, technical debt reduction, and cloud modernization initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain features in a .NET and React-based application
• Develop and enhance consumer banking application flows
• Address technical debt and improve system stability
• Support modernization efforts and platform refactoring initiatives
• Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver user stories
• Participate in future migration efforts toward AWS cloud infrastructure
• Contribute to system design discussions and implementation improvements

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
• Seven (7) years of experience
• Strong experience in .NET development
• Strong experience with React frontend development
• Experience working in enterprise application environments
• Ability to independently deliver features and enhancements

Preferred Skills

• AWS cloud experience (strongly preferred)
• Experience with containerized environments (OpenShift or similar)
• Background in banking or financial services
• Experience working on modernization or legacy-to-cloud transitions
