$89.45 - $104.82 per hour

Job Description:  

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and deploy efficient Python scripts to parse, collect, and process large-scale web datasets. 

• Build and optimize complex SQL queries that support data processing and analytics workflows. 

• Develop clean, scalable, and high-performance software following established engineering standards. 

• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices. 

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects to ensure system reliability and performance. 

• Create and maintain technical documentation to support long-term application sustainability. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical updates on project progress. 

• Support the development and maintenance of data-processing pipelines and applications. 

Requirements 

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience. 

• Advanced proficiency in Python development. 

• Strong experience working in Linux environments. 

• Hands-on experience writing and maintaining shell scripts. 

• Expertise in SQL query development and optimization. 

• Experience contributing to large-scale software development projects. 

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging capabilities. 

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaborative team environments. 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience developing web scraping, data acquisition, or data ingestion solutions. 

• Experience processing and managing large-scale datasets. 

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. 

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies. 

• Exposure to infrastructure automation and deployment tools. 

• Understanding of data analytics concepts. 

• Foundational knowledge of machine learning applications. 

• Previous experience working in high-scale technology environments.
