Job Description
Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Software Engineer (Java Microservices) for their Charlotte, NC location.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java 17/Spring Boot microservices.
- Build scalable backend solutions using SQL Server, Oracle, Kafka, and cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and execute automated testing strategies.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to completion with minimal supervision.
- Support the development of new microservices and enterprise applications.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 and Spring Boot microservices.
- Good experience with Kafka.
- 3+ years of SQL development (SQL Server/Oracle).
- Experience with React, Cloud technologies, and Test Automation.
- Strong backend development experience (Java, services, databases).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred Skills: OpenShift and/or Kubernetes experience.
