Software Engineer (Mid / Senior-Level)

Overview What We're Looking For As a Software Engineer at CyberPoint, you will design, develop, maintain and enhance software systems that support mission-critical capabilities. You'll work in a collaborative, Agile environment contributing to the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment. This position is contingent upon contract award. What You'll Do Design, develop and maintain software applications in a Linux-based environment Write and optimize code in Python, C++, Java or JavaScript Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile (Scrum) setting Utilize modern development tools and IDEs (eg VSCode, Eclipse) Manage code and version control using Git and GitLab Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging activities Support more complex development efforts and mentor junior engineers as needed This position is 100% onsite and requires an active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance. Qualifications What You'll Need US Citizenship Active TS/SCI + Full Scope Polygraph Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline OR four (4) additional years of SWE experience in lieu of a degree 14+ years of Software Engineering experience Experience working in Linux development environments Proficiency in Python, C++, Java or JavaScript Experience with Git, GitLab and IDEs (eg VSCode, Eclipse) Experience working in Agile frameworks (Scrum, etc.) What Will Set You Apart Experience with Software-Defined Radio (SDR) programming Experience with geospatial processing Experience developing 2D or 3D image displays Experience with GitHub or similar version control tools * Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar tools Our Culture Great People, Exceptional Benefits Great people are the foundation of any great company.
