**Job Requisition ID #** 26WD97950 **Job Description: Software Engineer** **Overview** We are looking for a Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable software systems. This role focuses on **hands-on coding, execution of well-defined tasks, and delivering high-quality software** across backend, frontend, and CDN/system components, while effectively leveraging modern development tools including AI-assisted coding. **Responsibilities** + Design, develop, test, and maintain **clean, efficient, and reliable code** + Implement **features and enhancements** across backend and frontend systems + Contribute to **CDN-related configuration, integration, and troubleshooting** to support content delivery and system performance + Debug issues across **backend, frontend, and CDN layers** using logs, data, and monitoring tools + Participate in **code reviews** , ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, DevOps) to deliver solutions + Follow engineering best practices including **testing, CI/CD, and version control** + Use **AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Copilot)** to improve productivity, code quality, and problem-solving efficiency + Provide clear updates on progress, risks, and blockers + Build working knowledge of system architecture, data flows, and CDN behavior **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) + 2-5 years of software development experience + Proficiency in at least one programming language - Java and JavaScript + Experience with **full stack development** + Familiarity with APIs, databases, and basic system design concepts + Exposure to **CDN concepts (caching, delivery, invalidation, logging)** + Strong debugging and problem-solving skills + Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) **Learn More** **About Autodesk** Welcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $98,000 and $175,450. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
