    Software Engineer, Product

    Location - Remote (US)

    San Francisco, CA Office Optional (Bay Area Preferred)

    Compensation - $140,000 – $225,000 Base + Competitive Equity

    Visa - No Visa Sponsorship Available

    As a Software Engineer, Product, you'll build AI-native product experiences across the full stack while working closely with engineering, product, clinical experts, and design teams to deliver software that directly impacts thousands of healthcare providers every day.

    What You'll Do

    • Build full-stack product features across backend services, web applications, and mobile experiences
    • Develop AI-powered workflows leveraging LLMs for clinical documentation and healthcare automation
    • Build scalable backend services using Python, TypeScript, and AWS
    • Develop frontend experiences using React and modern web technologies
    • Build streaming systems supporting real-time clinician workflows
    • Develop integrations with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and healthcare infrastructure
    • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Clinical, and GTM teams to deliver customer-facing features
    • Design scalable APIs supporting AI-powered healthcare applications
    • Leverage AI development tools including Cursor, Claude, and modern AI-assisted engineering workflows
    • Contribute across the entire engineering stack including backend, frontend, AI integrations, infrastructure, and mobile
    • Improve platform scalability, reliability, and engineering quality
    • Own product initiatives from technical design through production deployment

    Ideal Candidate Background

    Experience Requirements

    • 0–5 years of full-stack software engineering experience
    • Experience building and shipping production customer-facing software
    • Experience building AI-powered or LLM-enabled product features
    • Experience working across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure
    • Experience building products in startup or high-growth environments preferred
    • Demonstrated evidence of career growth, promotions, or increasing ownership
    • Experience collaborating closely with product and cross-functional teams
    • Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end product features

    Technical Requirements

    • Strong TypeScript and React engineering skills
    • Strong Python engineering skills
    • Experience building production applications on AWS
    • Experience building full-stack web applications
    • Experience integrating AI or LLM-powered product features
    • Experience using AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar
    • Experience building scalable backend APIs and distributed services
    • Healthcare, EHR integration, or mobile application experience preferred
    • Strong debugging, testing, and software engineering fundamentals
    • Strong product engineering mindset with full-stack ownership

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another STEM field required
    • Strong academic background from a respected STEM program preferred
