U.S. (Onsite Pompano Beach, FL) Full-Time | Exempt Engineering Department

We're looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of real-time operating systems, tools, and applications used across aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, and industrial sectors.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, and optimize software for high-performance, real-time environments
- Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable code in C/C++, along with scripting languages like Python or Bash
- Work closely with hardware, systems, and application engineering teams to integrate software with complex real-time platforms
- Debug complex issues involving multithreading, scheduling, performance bottlenecks, and low-level system interactions
- Contribute to continuous improvement through code reviews, testing, and documentation
- Support customer-facing teams on technical questions, integration challenges, and performance tuning
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and design to testing and release
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Strong programming skills in C/C++
- Experience with Linux, including kernel concepts, real-time environments, or performance optimization
- Understanding of multithreading, concurrency, scheduling, and system-level software
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional engineering environment
Nice to Have:
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Familiarity with embedded systems or hardware interfaces
- Performance benchmarking and low-latency software experience
- Exposure to simulation, HIL testing, networking, or distributed systems
