We are seeking an early career Software Engineer to join our Engineering Innovation team. In this role, you will design and develop the next generation software for X-ray imaging and computed tomography (CT) of industrial parts for non-destructive testing (NDT). This position is based at our corporate office in Rogers, MN.
What You will Do:
Primary Responsibilities
Design, develop and support software for use in X-ray imaging and computed tomography
Create technical design, implementation and training documentation that describes new software functionality.
Use varied development tools including Visual Studio, GitHub, coding agents, issue and task tracking for implementation of software solutions.
Communicate new developments and findings to internal/external customers in the form of presentations, technical reports and patent applications.
Develop and support software interfaces to a variety of hardware devices: UIs, X-ray detectors, X-ray sources, optical cameras, motion components, robots.
Support new and maintaining engineering and planning.
Other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Proficient with C++, C# or Python
Experience with Agile software development
Experience with Machine Learning, tools like Claude/Cursor, PyTorch, TensorFlow
Self-motivated and solid problem-solving abilities
Team player - leverage existing code and teammates
Flexible and adaptable to evolving specifications
Customer-focused with a preference for practical solutions
Preferred Skills:
> GPU programming
> 3D computer graphics with Robotics and Automated Systems
> Computer vision
> Computed tomography
Compensation Information:
Compensation for this position ranges from $68,000 - $84,000 based on education and experience.
