We are searching for a talented Software Engineer/Developer to join our team supporting the Joint Electromagnetic Warfare Center (JEWC). We are looking for an experienced developer to work with a diverse team of software engineers, data scientists, and analysts to support the integration of semantic web technologies into the SaaS portal, enabling advanced data querying, relationship mapping, and knowledge graph construction. Must have demonstrated expertise in SPARQL query development and graph database technologies (e.g., RDF, OWL, or similar). Regular progress updates and rigorous testing documentation will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM field.
Semantic Web Technologies
SPARQL query development
Resource Description Framework (RDF)
Ontology Web Language (OWL)
Experience constructing and querying knowledge graphs
Graph Database experience
Hands-on experience with graph databases (e.g. GraphDB, Stardog, Neo4j with RDF plugins, or similar triple stores)
Software Development
Proficiency in software languages used with semantic web tools (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#)
Data Integration and ETL
Experience ingesting, transforming, and linking disparate data sources into graph structures
Ability to develop data pipelines that support semantic enrichment and ontology-driven modeling
Strong communication and organizational skills.
