Software Engineer

• Pay Rate: $110.00 $140.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Standard First Shift, Monday Friday

Design, develop, and test software on multiple instrumentation platforms (Panther System, Panther Fusion System) and a menu of assays (Aptima STIs, Aptima Virology, Panther Fusion Respiratory) for automated molecular diagnostic instruments.

• Design, develop, and test software for automated molecular diagnostic instruments.
• Support Panther System and Panther Fusion System software platforms.
• Participate in sprint planning and software work breakdown activities.
• Develop software requirements and specifications.
• Enhance existing applications through refactoring.
• Perform code reviews.
• Conduct unit and acceptance testing.
• Perform root cause analysis and defect resolution.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

• C#
• .NET
• SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
• Software development experience.
• Object-oriented programming experience.
• Experience working within structured development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• 3 5 years of software development experience.
• WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation).
• AI knowledge/exposure.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar.
• Agile/Scrum experience.

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.

• Interview Process:

- Step 1: Engineering Phone Screen with Possible Technical Assessment - Step 2: Onsite Panel Interview 4 5 Engineers; individual interview sessions, approximately 30 45 minutes each.
