Software Engineer Security Services (C++/Golang) (Remote)
We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong expertise in C++ and Golang to join the product engineering and infrastructure team for a global technology company. In this role, you will work in lock step with engineering teams to implement security services, design solutions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. This is a hands on position for an individual motivated by technology and eager to solve complex challenges in security domains.
This is a 2.5-month contract project (extensions possible), 40 hours per week, remote role in the US.
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and a 401K are offered.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement system, container, and cloud security product features.
- Design, operationalize, and scale high performance, reliable, and resilient services.
- Collaborate with cloud operations to establish KPIs for services.
- Contribute to initiatives and projects across engineering and infrastructure.
- Advocate for policy as code, security automation, and best practices.
Requirement
- 7+ years of experience in software design and development.
- 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and container security.
- Strong development experience in C++ and Golang (primary requirements), with additional skills in Java and Python.
- Experience with REST API and gRPC based application development.
- Solid understanding of cloud security (cloud networks, cryptography, cloud security architecture and solutions).
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.
- Large scale distributed systems development experience.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
