Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Until Labs, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the software systems that form the backbone of this revolutionary technology. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust software applications critical to cryopreservation technology and organ preservation systems.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including biologists, engineers, and physicists to translate complex scientific requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Implement and optimize real-time data acquisition and processing systems for monitoring organ preservation status.
• Develop and maintain user interfaces and control systems that facilitate precise operation and monitoring of preservation hardware.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and continuous integration to ensure high software quality and reliability.
• Contribute to the development of data analytics tools to extract meaningful insights from biological and engineering data.
• Document software designs, processes, and protocols to support regulatory compliance and knowledge sharing.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in software development using languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with real-time systems, embedded software, or control systems is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary collaboration in highly technical environments.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Good communication skills and a passion for working on challenging problems with meaningful impact.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and knowledge of software development lifecycle tools.
