About this Role
We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our team as a general-purpose engineer and data integrator on an innovative project serving the broader developer community. You will design, develop, and integrate cutting-edge solutions working closely with data scientists, software and systems engineers, and systems administrators to integrate AI/ML technologies into production systems.
In this role, you will:
- Build upon your Kubernetes and Docker experience to containerize and deploy services using modern CI/CD practices
- Develop new software solutions and support existing ones, leveraging your DevOps and CI/CD expertise
- Apply AI and machine learning technologies to solve real-world problems, working directly with data scientists to understand requirements and determine the applicability of AI/ML solutions
- Elicit and document requirements from stakeholders to drive technical solutions
- Maintain high-quality test suites and comprehensive test coverage for internally developed software
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge management using industry-standard tools
- Collaborate with distributed development teams to deliver production-grade software
Requirements
- 8 years of professional software engineering experience, OR a B.S. in a technical discipline plus 4 additional years of experience
- Production-grade software development experience in Python and JVM languages
- Hands-on experience with service containerization and automated/manual deployment using CI/CD with Kubernetes and Docker
- Proficiency with Git version control
- Experience maintaining high-quality test suites and test coverage for internally developed software
- Familiarity with documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Demonstrated experience with AI, LLMs, and leveraging the latest technologies in production environments
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with distributed development teams
- Proficiency in additional programming languages such as Kotlin
- Experience with popular test libraries for the JVM and Python (JUnit, AssertJ, unittest, pytest)
- Full-stack development experience, with a current focus on backend systems
- Experience analyzing cyber security-related datasets including network traffic and OS events
- Experience working in formalized software development processes (Scrum, Kanban, Sprints)
- Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems
- Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations

Salary Range
$230,000 – $271,000
This range includes our flex income and depends upon your annual work hours.
Salary is determined on an individual basis following the interview process and considering various factors such as years of experience, skills, education, and certifications.
