Seeking an experienced Software Engineer - Switch Design to lead development of high-performance networking software for data center platforms.
Responsibilities include designing and optimizing software modules, defining architecture integrating SONiC with hardware, developing system interfaces, and optimizing performance and resource use. Leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams and contributions to the open-source SONiC community are essential.
Qualifications: BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, 2+ years in networking or system software, proficiency in C/C++/Go, and knowledge of L2/L3 networking protocols and hardware packet forwarding. Preferred: experience with SONiC, datacenter networking, and open-source practices.
