Pay Rate: $80.00 - $86.00per hr.

Our client needs a technically strong Software Engineer Team Lead to provide technical leadership and coordinate security vulnerability remediation. This role will bridge technology and product teams while helping organize remediation efforts and providing hands-on technical assistance as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and coordinate vulnerability remediation across development teams.
• Triage security vulnerabilities and perform root-cause analysis.
• Review source code to understand vulnerabilities and determine appropriate solutions.
• Guide engineers through remediation and provide hands-on assistance when needed.
• Coordinate projects and workstreams across technology and product teams.
• Mentor engineers and help organize priorities, timelines, and remediation activities.
• Help ensure vulnerabilities progress from discovery through resolution and closure.
• Support development and deployment activities across the team's technology environment.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience; lead-level experience preferred.
• Strong C# / .NET experience, including .NET 10.
• Experience with React.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience performing vulnerability triage, root-cause analysis, and remediation.
• Ability to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on.
• Strong organization, communication, mentoring, and cross-team coordination skills.
• Ability to perform security-focused code reviews.

Preferred Qualifications

• Harness experience.
• OpenShift/Kubernetes experience.
• Application security or cybersecurity experience.
• Vulnerability remediation experience.
• Banking or financial services experience.

Team Lead Expectations

• Leadership, mentoring, organization, and coordination are more important than coding volume. The expected balance is approximately 75% leadership/coordination and 25% hands-on coding, with some variation based on team needs. The role will coordinate work across both consultants and full-time employees.
