OASYS, INC. is seeking an Intermediate Level Software Engineer with the right composition of knowledge, experience, and drive to develop software from front-end to back-end. The candidate will contribute to the design and development of the next generation of modeling and simulation tools for DoW medical planning. The modernization effort will transition our planning tools from desktop applications to web applications while integrating with external systems to facilitate seamless and rapid ingestion of external datasets.Position Responsibilities:DevelopmentDevelop browser-based user interfaces primarily using Microsoft Blazor web framework.Develop back-end business logic and APIs to integrate with cloud services primarily AWS.Support debugging and troubleshooting of development, test, and production issues.Team CollaborationParticipate in full software development life cycle (requirements, design, implementation, test, deployment) in a Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Maturity Level 3 environment.Work in a software development team with support from teams of designers, system engineers, testers, and technical writers.Collaborate with User Interface (UI) / User Experience (UX) designers to shape product experiences, provide technical feedback on design concepts, and develop scalable, maintainable interfaces that align with usability, accessibility, and performance standards.Technical LeadershipConduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Assist in defining and maintaining coding standards and development workflows.TravelPosition may require minimal travel (< 5%) in support of customer requirements. QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience:Requires Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.5+ years of experience in web application development with a focus on the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.
