is currently seeking an Engineer Software 2 for our client Northrop Grumman at location Baltimore, Maryland, United States Onsite.

Description: Northrop Grumman is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to support our Software and Digital Technologies department. As a member of the SW&DT department, youll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside systems, firmware, and hardware engineers to make our technologies a reality. This position will serve on-site at Aviation Blvd West Building in Linthicum, MD.
Responsibilities: • Support the planning, development, and testing of a surface Navy electronic warfare system. • Communicate project status to the Integration and Test I&T IPT Lead. • Use software development and collaboration tools like VS code, Jenkins, JIRA, BitBucket, GIT, Nexus, and Confluence. • Collaborate with systems engineers to support system-level integration testing. • Implement software changes in C to port existing software to new hardware. • Unit test software changes with system hardware.
Basic Qualifications for Software Engineer:
This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen. Must hold an active SECRET clearance.

No. When is your goal to fill this position? February. Will any of the following be required for this position? Overtime travel on call weekends off hours? Could you confirm the standard work hours? Is there a shift differential? Possibility for overtime and off hours support evenings or weekends. What is the likelihood that the position will convert to a permanent opportunity? If converting, what is the estimated FTE rate range for the position? There may be possibility to convert for high-performing individuals. Target would be a T3-T4 engineer.
