Responsibilities: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions by designing, coding, and enhancing components across systems or applications. Your day-to-day activities will involve using modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions. Providing solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams is a critical part of this role. Advanced proficiency in AWS Architecture is required. Advanced proficiency in IBM WebSphere Portal is recommended. Apply deep technical knowledge to design and implement robust software components that meet evolving business requirement. Support and guide colleagues by sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative environment to enhance team performance. Analyze complex challenges and propose innovative solutions that improve system efficiency and reliability. Contribute to architectural discussions and influence the direction of software development practices within the team. Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and integrate relevant advancements to maintain competitive advantage.
