As the Software Engineering Director, you oversee engineering capabilities within PNC’s Technology organization.
In this role, you will strategically lead and scale enterprise-wide engineering capabilities with a primary focus on security. You will be responsible for driving the design, development, and delivery of secure platforms, applications, and tools that protect and enhance our organization’s digital and physical assets.

•Define and execute the long-term vision and roadmap for security engineering platforms and services.
•Lead large-scale, complex application development initiatives aligned with business and cybersecurity goals.
•Drive innovation across security technologies, including automation, cloud security, and platform modernization.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, IT partners, and security stakeholders.
•Influence security strategy, risk posture, and investment prioritization.

Base Salary: $143,000.00 – $297,000.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
Generally, this opening is expected to be posted for two business days from 06/04/2026, although it may be longer with business discretion.
